A lot has been happening this year and SVS continues to enhance our procedures, systems and expand our staff throughout our business – from administration, operations, sales, account management and technical expertise, no area is untouched as we continue to strengthen our business in better support of our customers and in readiness for the anticipated scaling and growth period we foresee ahead.
Participation at Hillhead 2022
The UK’s largest Quarrying, Construction & Recycling Exhibition takes place at Hillhead Quarry Buxton UK on 21-23 June 2022.
SVS specialises in supporting many customers across the Quarrying, Construction and Recycling industries and are our Managing Director, Iain Barral and sales team are planning to visit the Hillhead exhibition to connect and build relations with our key partners and suppliers – Martin Engineering, Weir Minerals and Canning Conveyors.
We also look forward to making new industry connections and suppliers and obtaining insight as to how the various innovations, technologies, products and equipment will continue to drive and support SVS in providing more value in the future to our customers.
Meet our new team members
As alluded to in our opening, due to forward planning, we have embarked upon strengthening our setup in recent months and added to our team with three new members of staff and would like to take the opportunity to introduce them.
Office Administrator – Kara Donnelly
A huge welcome to Kara Donnelly, our new Office Administrator. Kara has a background and experience in resource planning and incident response, and her primary goal is to raise our internal administrative and support capability for the business in her new role.
Kara will oversee the general day-today running of the back office in relation to all incoming enquiries, emails, phone calls, orders, scheduling and much more. It has been a great first month and Kara has settled in very well!
Operations Controller – Gareth Campbell
Welcome to our latest new member of the team, Gareth Campbell, our new Operations Controller.
Gareth brings to his new role a broad experience in Health & Safety, Team Management, Planning and Warehouse Control, previously having worked as a field service engineer, assistant project manager looking after a team of field technicians and a work place trainer and assessor.
He will take responsibility for Stock, Fleet, Tools and everything to do with the operational side of the business.
Account Management and Sales Executive – Fraser Hayton
Congratulations to Fraser Hayton on his new Sales Executive and Account Management role at SVS.
Having previously worked in a technical position at SVS, Fraser has built a solid foundation for success and already grabbed this new opportunity with both hands.
Fraser will be the primary contact with our customers and identify opportunities to add customer value, extend customer relationships and evolve SVS business development activities.
When not on the road, Fraser can be found maturing and optimising our sales and customer systems and processes, so that we continue to enhance our customer experience further.
